Strangely, it does, by making you more aware of where the ventilation and cooling is working and not working in the data centre. A quick and dirty check is to examine the airflow and temperature at carpet level compared to head height. If it is cool at foot level and hot higher up, more circulation is required. If hot at ground level too, more cooling is required. If it is hot at carpet level and cool higher up, there’s a fire in the underfloor crawl space!
