I do know Christmas is in the Upper Peninsula of MI http://www.exploringthenorth.com/christmas/chr.htmlAnd Paradise is just a little ways further on. Which explains why Hell is in the Lower Peninsula.
I figure Santa lives at the North Magnetic Pole. That means he has to move around constantly, which is why no polar expeditions ever find him. He was in Canadian territory until recently, but is now apparently in international waters. Perhaps the proto-Santa who brought presents to good little Homines Erecti lived in Antarctica prior to the last geomagnetic reversal.

I always took Roy as a twitter person more than a snail mail type.

Roy probably used his new I-phone to look up the ZIP code for the North Pole.

The “zip” code (or postal code) for Santa is H0H-0H0 every Canadian knows that (and Sanat is Canadain as he lives in Canada (North Pole)

Ahhh…perhaps the Maya apocalypse is nigh, and the poles will indeed shift…and we shall find Santa’s workshop at Amundson-Scott Station!

Was there ever any debate over the north pole between Canada and Russia? They do both approach pretty closely.
