Just as with yesterday’s question, the knee-jerk geek response of only considering tech fails here. The Empire is massive, big as a whole galaxy compared to the few planets of the Federation, they’d win by shear numbers crushing the superior tech of a minute population of the Federation even without the Death Star
BTW, from doing some googling I guess a lot of people feel the Wraith ships from Star Gate Atlantis would really go to town on any version of the enterprise.
At work a few years ago, we had a huge battle going on about whether “zombies” created by a virus or by something from an asteroid were actually zombies. I say no.
And true, it isn’t always the vets who get serious. As so often in life- it’s the armchair commentators we hear form the loudest- not those with the actual experience.
YES! The main point of cartoons is that the more serious our lives actually ARE, the more important it is to have diversions that take us away from the mundane.
Back when I worked at my engineering jobs, I really LOVED turning to online cartoons while eating my bit of lunch from home (clears the mind from all the stress of schedules and problem issues).
I do really serious work in cancer diagnosis. I also have a warped sense of humor. I think it helps me deal with the weight of what I do at work. I don’t know many medical people who don’t appreciate sick jokes.
Death Star destroys planets. TOS Enterprise (actually Decker’s ship – Constellation) defeated the planet destroying Doomsday machine. Ergo, Enterprise defeats Death Star – though possibly only via a kamikaze attack :)

But it could not beat the Millennium Falcon across the Kessel Run.

I think you could also agree that the Enterprise is not designed to be flown into the ocean.

and a fatal design flaw with the death star with an open exhaust port that leads to the heart of death star.

It would be comforting to live in a world where things like this actually were important. Ask any returning Vet.

The Death Star can destroy PLANETS. You think one Fleet ship is going to stop it?

You’re missing the REAL question: which is more effective, Jedi mind tricks or the Vulcan mind meld? :)

I think the gals should be weighing in on this! Their opinion matters! A nice casual friday attire scene maybe?
