Should get the 3D printer kit from DeAgostini, instead. Biweekly magazine kit, roughly $15 per issue. Full kit will take about a year to come out, with a total price tag of $1000 (much cheaper than the robot suit, which you could then build with the printer). Compact enough to sit on your desk next to your keyboard.
At least once a week I find myself wondering how the heck Kathy can put up with Roy! I know there are plenty of “girl geeks” out there, and they all seem to have a lot more sense than the typical “guy geek”, maybe even more than the typical guy, for that matter. This comment is coming from a 62 year old male, former borderline geek (late 1960’s, long before it was cool)!

Kath, punch him in the head. Or, “Me save up? Roy, invent us a nice app!”

It’s OK Kathy, just feed him a box of donuts and he’ll pass out from the sugar overload. When he wakes up he’ll have forgotten all about the robot…..

Wait for the after Christmas sale, Roy.

Some painted styrofoam pads and duct tape should suffice if Roy knows how to walk like a robot that is.
