I have a manager like that. Every week, an email goes out with the names of techs who got great customer satisfaction surveys. All of the other supervisors send out a team email highlighting which team members got kudos emails. Our supervisor says nothing. But he sees nothing wrong with harping on a tech being 30 seconds late from break every chance he gets – even when there was just one “instance” and it happened over six months before.
And the supervisor wonders why the team is demoralized…
