I preordered my 7+ and chose black, not gloss, and it came in within 2 weeks. When I ordered the 6+ it took almost 4 months… I love it and it is worth ‘Ramen Night’ to pay for it! The camera is love. Just love it.
I want my Note 7, It’s going to be a blast. (jokes aside, it’s the phone i will upgrade to, once the batteries are upgraded, apparently the distributor pulled a fast one on several companies.)
This is probably the wrong strip to say this. . . .
Put your device down and back away. There is a real world out there full of nice people. You could, perhaps have an encounter with someone real and discover something you never knew.
At the very least you could laugh at all the bizarre stuff going on now, that is too strange to ever make into a game.
Yea, sure, pay about 1,000 Euro for a mobile phone that doesn’t even have an earphone plug. I paid about 50 Euro for my Doogee X5 (that is 1/20th of the price of an iPhone 7), has been working without any problems for the last 8 months and I only bought it because I needed a smartphone for whatsapp, to communicate with my siblings and parents.
Paid $5 for a flip-phone and it actually works as a phone, when I bother to use it. I mostly use my land-line to for calls. I don’t need a small portable computer to make a phone call when away from home. Just because you can doesn’t mean you should…. but then the only reason I even bothered is the dearth of pay phones these days.
.
Some might call me a Luddite, but I made my living thru tech and I learned very quickly that chasing after every neat new thing could be a very expensive and tiring business. Give me stable and secure over shiny and new any day.

They’ll have to pry my 6sPlus w/headphone jack out of my cold, dead hands.

The Note 7 is probably better at dealing with flies though, perhaps ideal gift for Rita

I kid my friend about his phone that weighs eight pounds and is the size of a shoebox. Serial number 00000003.

Oh, and of course in one or two years, when the iPhone 8 is released, you’ll pay another 1,000 Euros again.
