Considering she is called “Laura” in the movie I don’t see why this argument is happening. If they were sitting and reading comic books it would make more sense. The ONLY reason I bring this up is because a lot of people who have never and will never read comic books will likely see the movie – so the X-23, even in so far as the film addresses it will have little meaning to them.
