I still HAVE a typewriter and ribbons. So does my mom. She uses it to type up Bible verses on satin ribbon then crochets around it to make book markers. She gives them out to people at church. :o) I have several. They are really pretty.
I still have an old completely manual non-electric typewriter. I haven’t used it in years, but I still have it. I also have an IBM Selectric with extra type balls that anyone who wants it can have.

They sell typewriter ribbons at Staples and Office Depot (amongst several other places). Typewriters have become a bit trendy.

It takes some effort, but you can still get typewriter ribbon. You can even still buy typewriters!

“Sure, we keep the typewriter ribbons next to the spare slide rules in the supply closet.”
