When I was working it seemed to me that Middle Management focused more on stifling creativity than encouraging it.

Upper management just filled an office chair, nothing else. Middle management had to get results or else everyone was on the unemployment line. The higher up in management you go, the less you do and the more you make. No company can survive without the bottom of the ladder grunt workers.

I was still a kid when I saw Close Encounters, and those little guys terrified me. I had nightmares for weeks. :)

She can’t see the forest for the trees, an excellent manager. However, a leader she is not.
