Yuck. For me there’s a difference between iced coffee and coffee that’s cold from just sitting around.

No, “iced” coffee was discovered by busy moms who would finally get a chance to enjoy a sip 2 hours after they poured a cup.
Iced coffee has been around longer than the internet, the world wide web or computers. (Not just room temperature coffee, but deliberately iced coffee).
Maybe outdoors in a snowstorm with the lid off. Tepid coffee is not “iced”.
