The solution is simple but radical and most people are too unimaginative to allow it to sink into their well-propagandized brains: Sell the public schools. Separate government and education like state and religion should be.
I don’t believe that it is illegal for a teacher to respond in kind to a “Merry Christmas” greeting in public school. She just can’t get up in front of the classroom and teach ANY particular religion as truth. If your church/synagogue/mosque/home aren’t indoctrinating your children to your satisfaction, then send them to a RELIGIOUS school. Just don’t expect taxpayers to subsidize your kids’ religious brainwashing. And don’t expect the PUBLIC schools to be used as a venue for filling other citizens’ kids with your religion’s beliefs.
