That’s just the opposite of what my sons teacher told me back when he was in school. She said not to worry about his atrocious penmanship, that no one writes longhand in the digital age. All that was necessary was that he could write some semblance of his own name. Sad but true.
My medicine prescriptions now are sent electronically, and my recent eye exam got me a computer printed prescription. A couple of years ago, a hand written one had to be done over since the optical shop misread it. I quit hand writing checks back in 1992. Used a variety of printers over the years.

My doctor has resolved the illegible hand writing issue…all prescriptions are computer printed.
