Now you get two trees!

I think he cut way to much off! Time to go back and get another tree.

Back in the day (or year), Dad would be a tree somewhere that needed considerable work. He’d take off some large lower branches, shorten them and, with an auger (before electric drills, bore holes in the trunk of the tree to fill in the obvious gaps. Sometimes he needed to brace those branches with rabbit wire, but they still drooped a bit. With the lights and other decorations … the tree was magnificent !

I think it’s a nice little tabletop tree.

Aren’t real trees about a hundred bucks these days?
