Mine does that too, Parethed. He also tries to attack the phone and me. My girl used to know when I was about to end the call and she would start saying “goodbye”.
Susan, I can’t go in any store that sells birds. I could bring home any number of diseases that could kill my bird, or me (Psittacosis is just one).
I used to shop in NYC once every couple of months, but all of my favorite little shops turned into chain stores that we have here in CT., and I can buy the same thing in the same stores here for much less than they cost in NY. Metro North is about 40.00 round trip now. Needless to say, I haven’t been to the city in a while.
Remember the Famous Amos cookie stand on Lexington Ave.? You’d buy warm, freshly baked Famous Amos cookies in a paper bag by the pound. They were great!
