(I’m reminded of an old Jack Benny skit in which Jack is driving the department store salesman crazy. When the floor-walker comes over to ask what’s wrong, the salesman says “The customer is always right, and this jerk is the customer!”)
I used to be a Customer Service Rep. The customer is NOT always right. They are actually quite wrong about half the time (my perception). And the more wrong they are, the more rude they are.
I was stuck in a checkout lane once behind a lady who was arguing over her bill. She was angry that she was being charged $3.50 each for something, when they were supposed to be on sale at 2 for $7.00.
