Reminded me of the time we had chicken in the mess hall. All 4 of us at the table were NCOs. Each of us cut into the chicken and discovered it was still bleeding and raw. Just as we getting ready to stand up a voice said “How’s the food men?” All 4 of us jumped to attention. It was a 2-star general, the base commander. We were honest and showed him the bloody raw chicken. He took our chicken and fast walked into the kitchen. I’d love to tell you we then received some hot cooked chicken but we hauled ass outa there as quick as we could. Never found out what happened, but we suspect some Captain was doing a lot of YES SIRS!So sitting next to the restroom is great advice!
