I guess Sims was not the only one not doing his job! If his boss had been doing his job, he would have caught him coming back to work after he got fired!
Last night I watched an old episode of Seinfeld where Kramer started going to work at a company that hadn’t hired him. When the boss finally told Kramer that his work wasn’t up to par and he had to let him go, Kramer said “But you never hired me.” “I know, that’s what makes this so difficult”, the boss replied.

You shouldn’t have fired Sims by email. He never reads emails.

Luckily, there were two “Sims” in the firm. Sims #1 got fired!

That’s not Sims – it’s Kramer. He never actually worked there…
