Television: Next time on "Brides who aren't nice"... Laura: OMG. Those were the worst people I've ever seen. Adam: Why do those other people put up with them? Laura: They keep yelling and yelling. Adam: Don't they have any self-awareness? Laura: This show makes me angry. Adam: And yet soooo appreciative.
Television is a medium to seel products, nothing else. Shows are produced that sponsors will buy. The people chose, with their purchasing power, the shows that are broadcast. The Learning Channel and The discovery Channel originally carried educational programming. No one watched it. Sort of like PBS.
