Television: Next time on "Brides who aren't nice"... Laura: OMG. Those were the worst people I've ever seen. Adam: Why do those other people put up with them? Laura: They keep yelling and yelling. Adam: Don't they have any self-awareness? Laura: This show makes me angry. Adam: And yet soooo appreciative.

I totally agree. I always say my life certainly does not have enough drama for those reality tv shows but I love my little boring life. We’ve been married 46 happy years with a great family. I don’t need drama we just have fun.

I agree with Doc! The “sexiest man in the world” is not the one with the chiseled abs and dimples, but the one who helps with the dishes and makes you laugh.

To paraphrase cartoonist Kathy Garrison, modern antenna and basic cable TV is the post-apocalyptic wasteland left by people who can afford home computers.

If the TV show bothers you, why watch?

I agree with most of what you say, don’t watch Fox much, but wouldn’t classify all who do as ignorant. I would like to start a campaign though, how does “Say BOO to Boo-Boo” sound?

Television is a medium to seel products, nothing else. Shows are produced that sponsors will buy. The people chose, with their purchasing power, the shows that are broadcast. The Learning Channel and The discovery Channel originally carried educational programming. No one watched it. Sort of like PBS.
