HIGHLIGHTS is a month;y children’s magazine that has been published for at least the last 40-some odd years (as I remember and probably before), usually found in pediatricians’ and dental offices. “Goofus and Gallant” is a parallel cartoon (side by side cels) of and ill-mannered and a polite child in the same situation. For example: the same 50s station wagon in the driveway to a suburban home, the left side (Goofus) shows “Goofus runs into the house to watch television” while the right side (Gallant) shows “Gallant helps his Mother carry in the grocery bags from the afternoon shopping”, implying, Goofus has left Mother with the chore of brining in the food and putting everything away so he can plop his butt down in front of the tv until she says it’s time for dinner.

They still publish Highlights? I know I read it when I was a kid. I hope it hasn’t gone too politically correct.

How is waiting two hours at Instant Care different from waiting two hours at a proper doctor’s office?
Still though, sounds like Adam should see a doctor, or at least do something to treat it himself (drinking plenty of fluids, for example. I know y’all hear that all the time and stuff, but it’s true).
I remember seeing Highlights as far back as when I was a kid, but oddly enough, I never really did read it much, even as a kid.
