I think February is the longest month. Though only twenty-eight days long, it just drags on and on forever.

I was watching an episode of Brain Games on National Geographic, they said cold tends to speed up time, heat makes time seem to go slower. I thought, If that’s the case, why does Winter seem so long, and Summer just zips by. Being in the Midwest, currently 5 o below 0, I guess I am out having fun in the Summer and cooped up in the Winter.

-12 right now. When I was a kid I loved winter, it was my parents that wanted it to be over. I still like winter, but -12 is just stupid.

What I’ve never understood is folks who claim “It’s too cold to snow”.

I’m having a meltdown too, my bday was yesterday and the last few years have either been lots of snow or freezing temps or both.

Not sure if you all are talking in F or *C, but right now, where I live (an hour north of Toronto, Ontario), it’s -15C and the wind chill is -24*C. I like winter when it stays around the -10 to -15 temps, but when it gets this cold, it’s hard to bear. We also have about 3 feet of snow on the ground. January, this year, is taking forever to go by! Gaaahhh!

49 now, getting into the 70’s. However, we are in a severe drought situation in New Mexico.
