Adam: Hey, Barry. Barry: Adam. Adam: Really shooting for that "neighbor of the year" award aren't you? Barry: How so? Adam: Oh, you know. Planting "Running Bamboo"... The drum circles... The truck on blocks in the yard... The lack of pants. Barry: I wear pants at work! This is "Barry Time"!

Forget it, Adam. The law will side with his perversion.

Gonna need a bigger fence and a concrete barrier to a depth of three feet. That oughta do it.

I’m guessing he really means runningg bamboo which is often used as a hedge but easily can run amok if not tended. And Inget the impressin this neighbor does not tend to much.

I actually had some running bamboo come up INSIDE my house. It forced its way through an expansion joint in the concrete slab.

Think of grass on mega-steroids which is also invulnerable and you have running bamboo.

How about a moat? That would be good, too! With 7 foot alligators, and T-Rex climbing over the 12 foot wall………………..

I bet he didn’t know that HOA laws are higher that man’s laws.

At least Barry isn’t flying an American flag; HOAs hate that.

Took me a bit to figure out what HOA meant. The nasty Home Owners Association that wants things their way..Bamboo is one of those plants that are a forever renewing, unending resource. So put a planter in the ground and then the bamboo. .and since bamboo is so abundant….. why are clothes made with bamboo so pricey? The way the stuff grows, you could have a fresh crop just about once a week!

Bamboo needs concrete 18" wide and three feet deep to contain it. Planting it near a neighbor’s house is evil.
