My 6 and 10 year old grandkids binge watched Project Runway Juniors this weekend, Praise Exfinity!

I find standing directly in front of the TV helps if I need to get someone’s attention…

When growing up I would often be shushed by my elders, I decided not to do that with my children. They were, and still are more important to me than any tv show.

I did make use of the pause button on my (at that time) VCR, now DVR, now they return the favor. If I need to discuss something with them while they are watching a program, they are expected to pause it and hear me out, reply to what I said or asked, then resume their program.

Since I’m older I’ve developed an interest in Perry Mason but I watch it late at night so there’s not usually any interruptions. That’s as opposed to my poor father who had to watch it on Saturday evenings with a kid playing in the same room (me!).
