The way to get out of quicksnow is to lie on your back and make snow angels.

While panic attacks are nothing to joke about, in this case Katy better get all three. I thought the hair dryer idea was pretty funny actually.

Reminds me of the great Chicago snowfall of ‘64. It was a blast watching my mom’s toy poodle leaping through the snow before we rescued him ala Katy.

LOL I if I was Clayton I would have walk a bit away from her and started pelting her with snowballs. That would fix that panic attack.

Dunno about the rest of you, but I find Mr. Harrell’s depictions of Katy the most amusing of all the family members…

I remember snow deep like that in the 70’s when I was little. The paths through the snowdrifts would still have snow higher than my head on both sides, and my brothers hadn’t even dug down to the ground when making the path. The wind would blow a stream of snow across your path quick enough to wipe out your tracks within a few minutes. I loved cross country skiing through the farmers fields, which despite the practice of fall plowing back then had enough snow over the field to make it smooth.

So how did they get two panels one two and three without making any paths through the snow? I guess it’s just, physics. Or Comics drawings.

I gotta say… that reminds me of the Winter of ’69, when I was knee-high to a short duck, trying to deliver newspapers! The snow was about that high.
