Darn. I loved Mission: Impossible when I was a kid but I can’t hear the theme song in my head because I’ve had a Night Court ear worm for over a week now. I don’t mind it because I loved it too and Mission: Impossible didn’t have Markie Post. ;-)

The Mission Impossible theme from television (back in the old days) began with the sound of a typewriter — tap, tap, and so on.

Adam is the example of insanity, trying to do the same thing over and over, and getting the same results.

The “MI” theme from Mission Impossible in Morse code is simply “dash dash, dot dot” which translates to the letters “M” and “I” respectively, reflecting the first letters of “Mission” and “Impossible” It’s the beat throughout the whole theme song. Lalo Schifrin knew his Morse.
