Why is she always sitting there reading a book and you’re bringing up various nuances, idioms, trites, and platitudes in the form of questions? Do you ever sit read a book while she brings up various nuances, idioms, trites, and platitudes?

Being from “the good old days” they weren’t always that good. Atomic bombs, Korea, Vietnam, Middle East, McCarthy hearings, Racial inequality, Ghettos, starving Appalachia, like Billy Joel sang “We didn’t start the fire. It was always burning since the world’s been turning. We didn’t start the fire. No, we didn’t light it……but we tried to fight it.”

A friend of mine was saying he can’t wait for things to return the way they were. But as I recall, all he ever did was complain about everything and express constant unhappiness with his life. I am wishing for a new life after the virus…not my same old one. I want to go forward.
