Too many unbelievable items in this one before the punch line. To be impaled by a stalagmite, one would have to fall on it. They’re not usually pointy enough. How does being impaled result in injured neck, arm, and leg injuries, and not death from exsanguination? And why use a crutch on the side with an injured arm? Being impaled by a stalactite that fell from the ceiling might do it.

Wonder why a tour guide who is bad with details would decide to switch jobs? Hmmm… there must an answer somewhere.

A stalactite could have fallen down and impaled him. He would have had to impale himself on a stalagmite.
