I was always told that there was no such thing as “normal”. lol

I’m normal, at least that’s what the voices in my head told me.

I’m not odd (unlike most other folks), I’m unique (unlike ANY other folks). Which is to say, odder than odd.-But then this brings us to the other claim, that Trout is “samo-samo,” something like “same old, same old”.I contend, ladys and gentlemen of the jury, that a normal human being would not hang out around Agnes, with supporting evidence being the people who comment on her adventures.Therefore, there is no way on God’s Green Earth, that Trout is normal.-Oh and congratulations to the father of Harry Grapjas and the wise voices of Shygirl27

To fall within the norm by all measures would be decidedly abnormal, so “perfectly normal” is an oxymoron, although being “abnormally normal” is a possibility.

To be “normally normal”, one would have only the normal number of abnormalities, and it follows that to be normally normal is also to be “normally abnormal.”

Trout’s ability to tolerate Agnes may be an abnormality per se, but it does not necessarily put her outside the norm in terms of abnormalities, so Trout may yet be “normally normal.”

I, for one, am sickened to see statistical deviants not merely depicted but glorified in the comics. And these are just children!

Being normal. Where’s the fun in that?
