I don’t think it’s anti-religious. She is comparing the two.

I’m non religious; so everyone relax. The bible says God is light; so a picture of the sun would be God, or possibly the Sun of God.

Today, all photos and videos should be viewed with a healthy dose of skepticism.

I’m anti-Tie. Thank God for casual Friday. I say sainthood for the inventor of casual Friday. Is this anti-religious?

    Y’all notice she’s thinking for herself? That’s a good thing, not a bad thing….

Agnus’s interests are many; her successes are few. But, I enjoy sharing her tenacity. Good work, Tony. Keep them coming.

Oops! My bad. I misspelled Agnes. Don’t want her to release her ire on me.

Math was also king of Gwynedd in the Four Branches of the Mabinogi, I was a Math major so I didn’t hate him.

Nonsense. The religious people have images of their Gods appear to them on slices of cheese toast, and moldy shower curtains, and cracks in the walls. Plenty of pictures. Very convincing… to THEM.

Agnes said “photo” but what she meant was “evidence”. Science, aka reality, has tons of evidence for lots of stuff. Religion, aka fantasy, has not one shred of evidence for any of their ridiculous fantasies. Tony Cochran, thanks for creating the brilliant but poor Agnes. This is becoming my favorite comic strip.

Most people have observed evidence of the world being round. Anyone who has seen a ship disappear over the horizon on the ocean has observed evidence—if the world was flat, it would never sink below the horizon slowly. Also, during lunar eclipses, the earth’s shadow is curved—try that with a flat earth.Science, by definition, deals with the provable. Too bad that so many politicians don’t like what science demonstrates as fact.Religion deals with faith. Many scientists are also quite religious, realizing that much in life is unprovable.
