My wife and I were about to celebrate our 2nd anniversary (many years ago), and my wife tells me she is expecting our first child. I told her that was the best anniversary gift I have ever received. Might be the same thing with Grandma, the best Christmas was when her granddaughter came into the world.
One of these years Agnes is going to declare that Christmas doesn’t exist and not expect anything, for all the years she only received socks, underwear, or nothing at all. I just know it.
