Doesn’t help your case any, Agnes, that Grandma seems to prefer reading the newspaper over watching the TV.

For years we lived with a 12-inch portable, complete with rabbit ears. Never realized that football players were actually big.

She’d tell her to put her face up closer to the screen, but she doesn’t want her to strain her eyes…

Our first tv was a Silvertone 15 inch black and white. I wish tv today made me as happy as it did back then when we had stuff like Flash Gordon and Boston Blackie.

i’ll always remember the day that dear ol’ dad brought home one of the early model sony trinitrons (very tiny). we were all saying to each other in amazement, so this is what color tv looks like when the colors are actually almost correct…

My first television was I guess it was in 1981 13-in diagonal color TV. I remember buying it after Reagan was shot and I realized I couldn’t see whether it’s going to live or die because I have no television. It is very cold I paid $350 for it. They’re nothing to write home about but the last television I bought I believe was a 32-in LED that I paid about $109 for. Somebody stole it so I don’t have it anymore. I still have one but it was more and not as good and the same size.
