Considering the current postage rates, where did Agnes get that kind of money to pay for stamps?

When I was around the age of 10, I wrote to all the TV and movie stars I could think of, asking for their picture. In almost every case I got what i asked for. (Roy Rogers charged 25c/photo.) Since I didn’t know anything else I mailed them all to Hollywood, California.

I’m shocked Osteen didn’t ask Agnes for a sack of fifties. There’s a special place in hell (if there were such a place) for Joel Osteen and those like him.

She wrote them, she never said she mailed them out… @ 68 cents a stamp.. Where did she come up with $300+ in stamps???
