One of these is not like the other. One of these has released his tax returns most of, if not all of his political career. One of these is honest, and lets the justice system do it’s job, without his meddling into what they are doing.
The other one is a career criminal, whom justice is finally catching up to his life long criminality. If there is an equal justice system, he won’t be able to get his orange face paint, hair dye, or hair spray.
It might be a better argument if the GOP hasn’t demonstrated a complete willingness to toss out the “Rule of Law” concept to protect one of their own. You’re never going to be able to walk away from the fact that GOP leadership has protected Trump in order to preserve the “integrity” of the political party.
The GOP lost all credibility in claiming The rule of law moniker when it embraced Trump and Trumpism.
For me, the main difference is that if there were actual proof, indictments against Biden I would acknowledge said evidence. And not against his kid, who never held a government position. Just another BENGHAZI!!! sans anything new.
Trump said it best when he said he could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot someone and not lose any voters. Metaphorically, we keep seeing evidence that, at least on that, he’s correct.
The House Republicans released a report on May 10th that said nothing illegal or corrupt was was found about Joe Biden. But Comer, Gym Jordan, etc. keep talking about whistleblowers that they can’t find and baseless accusations.
There is a LOT of incriminating evidence against Trump, including his own statements on tape. He has spent the majority of his life skirting responsibility by taking his accusers (contractors he doesn’t pay just as a start) to court because even though he doesn’t actually pay his legal bills, he finds enough sleazy lawyers that want the name recognition. Trump is NOT an amateur, he has made most of his “career” with corruption. Started with daddy paying DJT $200,000 when he was only three to skirt taxes.
This prosecution would never have happened if Trump had turned in all the documents when asked. The right-wing media, GOP, and Trump will try to obfuscate the issue, and our Nations’ weak minds will probably fall for it. However, this case boils down to the former President lying about having the Code-Word/Top-Secret documents and then entering into a criminal conspiracy to hide and keep those documents for himself.
I know people who have become Federal Prosecutors; we’ve stayed in contact since graduate school. When a Federal Prosecutor finally writes an indictment after the investigation, they have a piece or pieces of evidence to back up every claim they make in the accusation. In this case, Jack Smith has Trump on tape and eyewitness accounts of Trump admitting to having the documents and knowing they were classified.
Trump will lie that he is innocent, and this is a political prosecution to grift as much money as possible. However, I will bet he takes a plea deal before a verdict is reached. And one more thing, Trump will never, ever be President again.
Are the republicans using him as a target hoping the fool does something that gets him killed so they can get the sympathy vote; knowing them, they probably already hired the hit man/woman for the job
We have one set of laws in this country and they apply to everyone”. If this were true, Hillary would have been indicted for having massive TOP SECRET – SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED information on her home server. Instead, she got a pass from Comey, who stated that this was not a crime. And Joe Biden would now be indicted for storing massive amounts of the same in his Corvette where any of Hunter’s prostitutes would have access to it. Not to mention the new proof, backed up by the FBI’s own Form FD-1023, that Joe Biden took $5 million from a Burisma executive as part of a bribery scheme from a foreign government.
Spare me the pathetic liberal hand-wringing over Rule Of Law and National Security! As if liberals gave a damm about either one.

What will be the status of those morons that take up arms to support Trump? Is it treason, insurrection again or civil war?

“amateur”? Drumpf is quite professional, else he’d be on the street in New York, and even Spiderman couldn’t save him.

Pace yourself Al. There is still GA and the 1/6 investigation that are almost certain to indict him. Its as if he’s a career criminal.

Al just HAD to include a shot at Biden to keep the MAGA’s from ripping him to pieces. Now they’re too confused to take action.
