I watch a guy who restores toy cars. There’s something relaxing about watching a man whose greatest concern is whether the model was from 1956 or 1957, because they changed from 14 to 16 spoke wheels that year and he only has 14 spoke wheels handy.
When I’m not watching kittens and puppies on YT, I watch various artisans repairing/restoring old tools, and various devices. Like Ms R’lyeh, I find this very relaxing somehow. Also, the kitties and puppies are sooo cute!
My most recent obsession is drain cleaning videos! Drain Addict on YouTube- he’s an Australian plumber and is delightfully quirky. Its as satisfying as pimple popping videos, with more grossness. And the amount of plumbing problems that are caused by tree roots and “flushable” wipes is astonishing!
I enjoy peeking over my mom or my dad’s shoulder when one of them comes along a baking or decorating video. It’s satisfying watching those videos! Oh, I get it now! Three tablespoons of sugar, not two!

You could tell Dan that you baked one for him. All you have to do is buy a cake from the store and put it in the oven for a second and then take it back out. It was in the oven so you wouldn’t be lying to Dan.

I can’t decorate cakes or crimp a pie shell. I’m just fine with combining the ingredients and the oven part though.
