My cats never lie down on my lap at the same time, but when I came home the day after my husband died in the memory care home, both cats jumped up on my lap and stayed for hours. Therapy cats indeed.

My therapy cats know when I need them to snuggle in at night. And mostly they do. Some nights though they would rather put on a show for each other by tapdancing on my face.
