From Not Always Right: Giggle Soup

While doing floor cleaning in a supermarket after hours, there were shelf stackers working late. A round of giggles could be heard over the shelves and it grew as more people joined in the joke, which at this point we did not know.

Suddenly a female voice joined in and began laughing VERY loudly, and then suddenly all the noise stopped and one of the women made a dash for the back of the storeroom.

We went to see what was going on.

The girls had found a new product line:

Pea and Leek Soup.

Apparently, this was too funny for her. She laughed so hard she leaked… and peed all over the floor!

I can relate. Except I have no cats.

I can also relate, though I have neither soup nor cats, more’s the pity.

Good soup is good soup, regardless of context.

I’m an extrovert, too: easy to get lonely . .

Not everything is a plot point in a sitcom.

You will make people jealous!

You made it with cream, right? Maybe a drop or two of Tabasco?

Sounds great to me! You don’t have to share……unless the cats get demanding.

Add some oregano.

I’m “Home Alone” all the time, being a widower. I love tomato soup and always add some cooked rice to it. Progesso makes a great tomato soup!

This is me, just add in two more cats and a dog.

Two cats give you alternatives. It could mean that they will compete for your attention.

I enjoy eating alone now, sans kitties. It’s just how it is. I learned to be thankful having had so much go wrong, this feels right. “Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox with hatred therewith”

“…Alone…” She says that like it was a bad thing.

Try it with ordinary grocery store soup out of the can (splorp, mix, mix). And only one of two cats still living. Might be closer to bad.

And BTW, I never dunk grilled cheese in soup. Messy…

Grilled cheese and tomato soup, the preferred meal of being home, just a little bit sick, but not too sick to eat lunch!
