I saw a Youtube video that inspired me to make bassoon and contrabassoon reeds out of the plastic drink cups found at Starbuck’s, Timmy’s or 7 – 11. Not too shabby. They tend to move out of adjustment, but that is correctable. And they are not as expensive or time consuming to make when using bamboo. And more resilient.
