Lame , could have and should have been done in 3 panels. MikeyJ’s redo can’t come too soon.

Well the Pigeons think They’re Family.so that’s 4 panels of drawing, vs 6 tracings. Plus humour obviously.

Night Cappers, I won’t comment on the (comic) because it is not COMICAL. Sheesh. I started reading AC many years ago (like all of you), because I was heavily into “East Enders” and Andy was the funny to their, well, not funny. Now its not English and not funny. But I love all of you guys so I eagerly show up to read the new one every day, and move on to the comments quickly.Phew, that was long winded! I will now go to bed!

So, is this supposed to be Percy? He works from an office now? Finally got a promotion, I guess… nice to see my favorite character again, but, it’s not quite the same, if he’s become an office Jockey.

This has to be one of the worst ones these guys have ever done. Smythe was a genius at “breaking the fourth wall” with the sideways glance from a character that would say “can you believe this?”. Having Andy stare at the audience with a sappy grin and giving us a thumbs up is a poor substitute. And they know better, as is shown in panel 5 where they do it the right way.

    Seems Percy fancies Pigeons as-well.

Negative 7 out of 10 today……this is driving me to drink an Olde Frothingslosh!/One of my favorite “pigeon” strips was Andy moaning about how much it hurt to sell off a favorite pigeon. Flo says, “I know, mate, it brought a lump to yer wallet.”

Too generous. Zero.^^I gave a point for the last panel, the punch line was actually pretty good, but, the first 5 panels were terrible

That Andy statue isn’t a very accurate depiction

I saw it, but left her alone, poor thing. Split personality. Still, one can hope for a change of heart.

Trudeau broke wind his self-imposed silence Todai; the subject was North Carolina. Well John Pike had a statement to make too; guess it’s a re-buttal. regardless i’d check the point-of-origin of yer next Punkin Pie tho.

@MikeyjYou probably won’t see this comment, but excellent re-do! (Like always, and didn’t you leave one of Andy’s ancestors stranded on a desert island?) I think the crew of today’s original strip, with their unoriginal thumbs-up signs, must be recent graduates of Cartooning 101. In which case I would like a recount…..Why, why, do they not credit their readers with some intellect, and why do they have to telegraph absolutely everything, from the punch lines to their characters’ inner thoughts? I don’t mind breaking the fourth wall (Smythe did it fairly often), but do it with a dash of flavor!
