I’m back from our very long holiday weekend ( Fri. – Tues. ) refreshed and renewed and ready to rumble.
Andy’s barely humorous, today. A rehash of an old gag and as stale as last week’s bread.
Like your Avatar Affie , I have often wanted to do that myself, but since wife still works, I still get up slightly ahead of her, at 5am to make tea . Sleeping in, for us, is 7 in the morning !
Bev didn’t get a chance to watch the final game where we were staying because they didn’t carry it on what passed for cable t.v. but I understand it was a comeback game to go down in history ! Congratulations Royals !
Have a nice day Cappers. Today should be the last of the 70º weather in Nebraska. Congrats to the classy KC Royals fans, NO RIOTS, FIRES or OVER TURNED CARS in their World Series celebration!
Not even any fights broke out or any pockets were picked! (I should know, I tried to start a few fights and tried to pick a few pockets…..)@beviekMaybe you could post some of those awe-inspiring photos of the enormous crowds? And by the way, sorry I hadn’t replied to your soccer question until now. I don’t follow soccer, and I hate the name “Sporting Kansas City” because I personally don’t consider soccer to be sporting (or a sport!)
Hi Cappers! I am posting from the Britannia Hotel in Leeds. It’s amazing here. We spent a couple of hours in Skipton and then the coach took us to the hotel. I’m using the hotel’s free WiFi on my Smartphone.
I’m very tired. Luckily it won’t be too hard to catch up on my sleep as I was told I’m not required at my Work Placement on Thursdays for the time being, I think this is temporary and will be back to Tuesdays and Thursdays like normal.
I hope you are all well. I will continue to post here every day.
P.S. Feel free to make any song requests and I will start posting them on Monday.
