Not a bad strip today 7/10

Florrie, just tell him that it’s a teaparty, he will GLADLY stay away!

Flo must have cleaned her nose between panels 1 & 2.

What’s with Flo’s nose? Is she drinking too now?

But Andy’s the life of the party!

Both noses red in panel 1, neither red in panel 2, only Flo’s is red in panel 3. Very sloppy and lazy work by the colorist.

Flo to her Boss— "Since Andy can’t come to the party, could I I bring my mum? She would love for the chance to get out and around. If it’s a shortage of snacks that is the problem, she could bring her own…………..

Flo must have taken Andy to one of the boss’s parties before!

I’m so Irish that my avatar has a leprechaun in it but the flu is making me miss my first parade in over 15 years. Here in Kansas City we like to brag that our parade is the 4th biggest in the country, behind Boston, New York, and Chicago. That may or may not be true, but pretty much any parade will look silly next to the Royals’ World Series Parade last year. (Beviek, could you maybe post one of those pics one more time? The size of the crowd was just incredible.)

That is no surprise to me.

This one is a funny strip. Unique too, I’ve never seen this punchline being used before.

Definitely better than yesterday’s strip. I didn’t see any humour in that but I did understand the punchline.

I’m not Irish, but, some of my distant ancestral cousins on my Mother’s side are… Mom is a Talbot, an old Norman-French royal family, which also became British and Irish, after the Norman Conquests, by our close cousin, William the Conqueror. Weirdly enough, they were all descendants of the Vikings: Norman=Norseman. My sister-in-Law is a Sweeny, very Irish.
