Yesterday was light rain, and the water receded a little, but. The storm has moved off shore, is rebuilding energy, and is predicted to come back onshore today with more rain. Bottom line, as bad as it has been, it’s going to get worse.
Personally, I think I’m safe on my little grassy knoll.
