@Number Three In today’s strip the Vicar can’t give up reforming our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , but Andy dashed his hopes by giving the cleric his snide answer:o) how was your day? ours was hectic because we had to go to the pharmacy to get my medications then had our breakfast at 10 am , and shopping etc , like in my new avatar , now that it’s getting colder and rainy , pesky flies come inside the house and spoil my nap and it makes me want to get a gun and shoot them , but Connie won’t let me :o{ congratulations on the good work you are doing , you would make a good nurse , have fun chum . don’t you miss the old Capp Gang?
I wish the current “creative” team would give up telegraphing their punch lines! Hard to remember the last time an “Andy” episode actually surprised me, but I keep reading it for the sake of nostalgia, Andy being one of my five favorite comic strip characters of all time. And even before I was ever on GoComics I had my collection of twenty of the old paperbacks to read…….
I had an appointment at the city today but the trains had to be taken off. I’ve rearranged for tomorrow for the same time.
I often joke that I wish I could shoot seagulls because there are too many of them and they are annoying. But they are protected apparently. I think I would be beheaded in the Tower of London if I killed a seagull or a swan. Shame that humans can’t be beheaded for killing another human or an innocent animal…
I filled in my criminal check form today online. I just need the organisation I’m volunteering for to verify it.
My cousin is a nurse. I think she gives blood transfusions to people.
This fits a lot of people. They deny that there is a God because they do not want to give up parts of their lives that they know are wrong. That is about as foolish as jumping off a cliff because you do not agree with the existence of gravity.
Religion is fine, as long as it’s observed in moderation (like all good things) and not being shoved down people’s throats. (Which it is often these days, unfortunately.)
I’ve had Mormons follow me around and spouting their religion in my ear. As I’m a polite and friendly person, I let them rattle on. But I didn’t feel harrassed. They were friendly enough. I got The Book of Mormon from them too. I still have it and I will admit I’ve looked through it a few times.

The Vicar should be glad Andy even showed up, much less listen to his droning.

I’m interested to know why the vicar bothers with wastes of space like Andy.
But he’s OUR waste of space.

If it had been anything to do with politics though, I would have been like “No thanks”
