@Number Three Today’s strip is slightly funny ,our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , could injure himself doing cartwheels at his age , because his mother in law is leaving :o) unlike Andy I loved Connie’s mum and I was at her bedside in hospital when she passed away , but before she went to heaven , her last words to me were , bless you , my avatar today is of a gun made out of cigarettes , that reminds me that it is nearly 2 years since I stopped smoking ’ how was your day? ours should be busy but not hectic I hope , have fun and thanks for caring pal
At least he was enthusiastic enough to do cartwheels, usually I imagine he just waves at her with a strong, open palmed, forward motion. I recall that there was one strip where Flo’s mum came to visit and commented that Andy had waved to her in the street, using all five of his fingers instead of just a select one.
To the best of my knowledge, we have never been shown what Andy’s MIL looks like. She’s been left to our imaginations. Sort of a comic “fill in the blank”.
I know it was many years ago but I am sorry for yours and Connie’s loss. I have never watched somebody die before, I hope I’ll never have to either.
My Dad’s cousin Pete came to our house today. He’s from Corby. We are all meeting at a pub at about 3pm on Wednesday. There will be me, my Mum & Dad, my Auntie, Pete and his 3 daughters and grandchildren.

who knew Andy was so limber doing cartwheels (I mean, he is in [sort of] good shape when he plays football).

In the next panel, Andy throws confetti in the air ad shouts “YIPPEE!” which makes Flo even angrier.

Andy couldn’t have waited until she literally got out the door?
There was only her foot to go!

It’s a busy week for me but not “hectic” busy.
Take care, pal.
