@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny, our HERO Mr Andrew Capp finds out that talk is not so cheap if you have to hire a lawyer :o)my avatar again is Rowan Atkinson as Mr bean grinning because he’s in good mood like I am, how was your day? our Finally Friday should be relatively calm I hope , we both are in a good mood but we are staying in the house because it’s cold outside ,no shopping to do or errands to run ,just potter around the house till this evening when I will be having my fav nosh , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady
A Public Defender Service system was initiated in Great Britain in 2001 with the Advocacy Team added in 2014, and is only available, to the best of my knowledge, in four English cities – Hartlepool ain’t one of ’em!
I went for my eye test today. It cost me £54.70 to put new lenses in an old pair of glasses I have. The £54.70 was half price by the way. The full price would have been over £100 at least. I got the eye test free because of my circumstances.
Hopefully the Yankees will finally understand that our healthcare is NOT free.
I got to see the back of my eye again which was fascinating. All very healthy “behind the scenes”
Enjoy your favoirite nosh today, pal. I’m having mine as well but I obviously don’t have as much willpower as you because I have it on Tuesdays too!
Stay safe, stay well and stay happy, pal. See you after the weekend.

How much money is it going to cost Flo to have that lawyer* to defend Andy?
*Is this a —in Commonwealth vocabulary— barrister or solicitor?

Those coppers are using a cassette recorder to record Andy, is this a flash back to 1972?

He must be a greenhorn solicitor just starting in the trade, for him to get a client like Mr. Capp.

There’s no way Andy could ever afford his own lawyer. I call foul on this one. And why the ‘Americanism’?

Andy’s lawyer is looking quite smug and happy for a guy who will never be able to squeeze his fees out of Andy.

When he doesn’t have brawls, Andy just sort of stands there. Hard not to have witnesses.

Ever notice the number of lawyers that advertise on TV?

Andy relaxed demeanor under police interrogation, shows that this isn’t his first rodeo.
