~ I donât remember the part about George on bass but in âHere There And Everywhereâ, engineer Emerick stated that âSirâ did indeed do the lead part. In fact, according to Geoff, Paul was his favorite one to work with and had made a point of connecting with recording shop personnel while the others came about it in varying degrees. The room was set in a real âhippy-Indianâ vibe for doing âWithin You And Without Youâ. George was the only group guy in, with the Indian musicians that were hired to help with the song. He had full control and was in his element in contrast to being his usual âsecond stringerâ player.
Quote marks mine.
The best piece on the group I have read to date. If you are a fan, buy the book. His account of that whole experience from their very first session to the gap during the rancorous sessions of the âWhite Albumâ where he left the studio and then returned for âAbbey Roadâ is most colorfully descriptive. You are practically there when reading his words on the events of those years.
@Eldo Todayâs strip IS funny , for our HERO Mr Andrew Capp getting in a brawl is being happy :o) my avatar is a spoof of how some men think they look as sexy as Brad Pitt when they actually look as goofy as Mr Bean, like I do when I look in a mirror and se a 77 year old guy looking at me, how was your day? ours should be a little busy ,but we should cope I hope we are both in a good mood and after our bulk shopping is done we will stay inside the house and keep hydrated because itâs windy outside , keep safe and catch you later pal
Had a light green suit made in Berlin Germany similar to that one in 1967. Me dancing and Rathskeller suit. My wife retired it quickly. Young and dumb at 21. Little on the wild side. I loved and do love Europe. And the Greece med scene. Yet, live in the USA. NC.
I once drove by a bar on a semi-regular basis that posted its âHappy Hourâ as 4-6 pm. I know what they meant, but it still bugged my Aspie sensibilities.

All that beer can give someone a beer-belly. Andy and friend are just working of the excess calories before the next round.

Is Happy Hour really that late in the U.K.? Around here (N.E. Ohio) they can begin anywhere from noon to 5:00 but they nearly always end around 7:00.

I have a bit of a history with brawling near bars. We always took it outside to avoid being banished.

Thatâs why bars have Bouncers. Fighting is bad for business.

Rowan Atkinson is quite wealthy. Itâs amazing how handsome men look when they have plenty of Benjamins. $100 U.S. banknotes.
