when Andy read moderate he thought it said “more to rate” and he decided to go for the record!

Tips for a long life? Who writes that crap?

This is the first I know of where their town name – Hartlepool – is mentioned. I looked it up with Google and Google Maps, it’s a real place in England.

The only caution is Flo’s cooking.

A MODERATE amount of alcohol……is NOT Andy!! (minus the stress and cold water splashes!)

Well, he does take afternoon naps at the pub…….

Just about.

Not sure that Andy’s alcohol consumption could be described as moderate. Unless he’s just standing at Jack’s bar much of the day. But he can probably swim well.

But he lives in Manchester and played bass for Herman’s Hermits.

“Moderate” to Andy means that when he leaves the pub he can still walk . . . or crawl. :-)

I’ve known more old drunks than old doctors!

OK, WHERE to start… One- he drinks WAY more than a moderate amount. Two- he doesn’t swim so much as flounder. And three, he doesn’t work, but there’s a lot of stress involved in avoiding work and avoiding debt collectors!

There’s always exceptions.

The canal is freezing? Who knew Andy was such a tough old bird? Guess the alcohol must help a bit.

I’m not able to keep up with what is good for you and what is not good for you these days. I live my own life the way I want. I don’t exercise and I eat whatever I want. I believe having good mental health tops good physical health any day. If I die at 50, so be it. At least I’ll have died happy.

Anyway that’s my opinion. I won’t have anybody tell me “I should be doing this” or “I shouldn’t be doing that” I let people carry on with their lives the way they want to, I expect the same.

Sorry for being all serious! I’m actually in a great mood. Today has been a Bank Holiday here in the UK so I’ve had a day off work. Back tomorrow. It’s been a fab weekend.
