If I didn’t have to work, I really wouldn’t. But in my case – my long-lost billion dollar trust has been rediscovered and paid me out for missing 40 years of distributions. (sigh, my fantasy life is so peaceful)

It’s not easy to be totally incompetent consistently. Skill like that deserves a dole recognition check.

In the UK, do you keep getting dole money forever if you don’t find a job? In the US, if you don’t find a job after so many weeks, the money runs out.

Looking for jobs that won’t hire you so you can stay on the dole is tough work, Andy, but someone has to do it. Dilly! Dilly!

Simple solution that should have happened a long time ago. Cut Off his Benefits!

Panel 3 must be for the newbies — any reader familiar with our Mr. Capp could figure out exactly where he was going. As for those who think his benefits should have been cut off long ago, remember that time passes at a different rate in his universe than in ours. After all, he’s been around since 1957, and doesn’t appear to have aged a day in all that time (and I know I have).
