consider that a lucky gesture, lad. Can you imagine what kinda signs Andy would be writing?

Had you told him there was beer in the can he would have gotten the lid off faster than you can blink.

Give him a bottle of beer with a press on cap. or should that be capp?

That’s why I gave up being a brain surgeon with my first patient…just couldn’t get that head open…

I think this is the second time Andy’s sign writing career has been mentioned. In the 70s he said something about it.

I wonder they would fair better if they offered him a job that paid in beers.

Couldn’t or would’t get the top off there is a difference and this is Andy after all.

Ironically, getting the lid off of a beer can wouldn’t have been an issue for him.

If the job was for painting signs for a brewery he may have taken it if it offered salary plus all the beer you can drink.

seem to remember that Andy (or maybe Flo) once mentioned he was a plasterer by trade. Fitting since he’s so often plastered.

I’m surprised he made it to the paint can.
