I totally get it! Especially now, when reportedly people get offended at the least little thing, but not being sure who is going to get offended by what, and knowing that even if they did you might not recognize it until it’s too big to do anything about. Usually, at that point it’s so far beyond the initial misunderstanding that it’s hard to trace back, and your left wondering what went wrong!
The alternative response for some people is to be very talkative… that way it’s more of a show and less of a conversation.
