ANNIE’S BACK!! THANK YOU GOCOMICS!! HOORAY!! YAY! WHOOHOO!!
Good Morning, Anniephans! It looks like GoComics has heard us at last! They are rerunning the Maeder epic beginning when Allen Kupperberg took over the artwork. This strip originally first appeared on April 24, 2001. This thread here at GoComcs actually goes back to this past Sunday, where they have the strip for April 22, 2001. The strips for April 15, 18, 19, 20 and 21 are not here, however, Kupperberg’s previous strips. I’d like to see a rerun of Andrew Pepoy’s strips from 2000, but I’m so glad to see this, I’m not going to complain!
If the Anniephans want to continue reading the daily archives, here’s the link to Annie 2003 .
It has been a long time for this 87 year old former WW2 Marine. Now I can enjoy viewing Orphan Annie (or just plain Annie, or whatever.) Whomever is responsible, thank you for bringing her back.
I’m glad to see her back as there are many stories I missed like this one. Yet I am disappointed the stories are not new so we could find out what happened to her after she was kidnapped by that crook.
This’ll be much easier than dinking with the link every day to get to the right date. I hate link dinking.
However, it does appear that we’ve arrived at an awkward moment.
BTW, the calendar lets me step back, but only for a couple of days, And it looks like we will have to endure those awful Sunday strips. But I’m not complaining.

Wow! When was the last time we saw 12 comments on this page? And GoComics still doesn’t have the comic indexed yet in the A-Z Navigation page!

@David, I’m glad Annie’s back. She’s the reason I got into GoComics in the 1st place.
It’s good to be back in the US where I can sit in front of my own computer at any time of the day without worrying how much I’ll be charged.

You won’t see Rex Morgan here because it’s a King Features strip. They have their own website.
